Ontraport Pricing and Plans
Ontraport has 4 different account plans available:
- Ontraport Basic Account ($79 per month)
- Ontraport Plus Account ($147 per month)
- Ontraport Pro Account ($297 per month)
- Ontraport Enterprise Account ($497 per month)
While it looks straightforward at a glance, there are lots of things to consider.
Which Ontraport plan you need is largely based on the number of subscribers you have and the features you need access to.
Below is a breakdown of key features of each plan, as well as a rundown of what features you'll be missing at the lower tiers.
Ontraport Basic Pricing Plan
Ontraport pricing on the basic plan is $79 per month and includes up to 1000 contacts. This account is right for you if you're just starting out and need a very basic Customer Relationship Management System, basic automation, email marketing, and landing pages.
Honestly, I don't recommend this plan very often as the power of Ontraport's All-in-One functionality is sort of lost. You're going to be missing out on a ton of features (like payment processing, membership sites, affiliate system, analytics dashboard, and page tracking) and you'll be wanting to upgrade in the first week anyway.
Unless you're on a seriously tight budget, skip the Ontraport Basic Account.
Ontraport Plus Pricing Plan
Ontraport pricing on the Plus Plan is $147 per month, includes up to 2500 contact and unlimited email sends.
It also includes 2 user accounts – which is nice if you have an assistant or someone else on your team you'd like to give Ontraport access to.
This is where I recommend you start if you have a mailing list of fewer than 2500 contacts.
As you get all of the most important features (minus things like custom objects and UTM tracking). But unless you run a very complex business or are running big ad campaigns you probably won't be using these advanced features yet anyway.
Ontraport Pro Plan
Ontraport pricing on the Pro Plan is $297 per month, includes up to 10,000 contacts and gives you unlimited email sends.
It also includes 3 user accounts which can be customized so that your team only has access to the parts of Ontraport they need, and locks them out of the stuff they don't (like financials for example).
The Ontraport Pro plan gives you access to their entire feature set which means you'll really never run into a limitation.
This is definitely the place to start if you have 2500 to 10,000 contacts, you're getting into paid advertising, run a sales team, or want advanced pipeline tracking.
Ontraport Enterprise Account
Pricing on the Ontraport Enterprise Plan is $497 per month, includes 20,000 contacts and up to 200,000 email sends per month.
This plan also includes 5 user seats so great if you have a bigger team managing all aspects of your business.
At the Enterprise Account level, you get access to the entire feature set, as well as a dedicated account rep.
I recommend this account if you have greater than 10,000 email contacts, have a bigger team, or are transitioning from another enterprise-level CRM like Hubspot, Marketo, Eloqua or InfusionSoft.
The Bottom Line
Regardless of what Ontraport pricing plan you choose (with the exception of the Basic Plan), you're getting access to incredibly powerful software that has the ability to run almost every aspect of your business.
